Mirabai Chanu
She is an Indian Weightlifter who won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Women’s 49 kg Category. She has won multiple World Championships and Commonwealth Games and was awarded the Padma Shri and Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna by Govt. of India.
Jeremy Lalrinnunga
He is an Indian weightlifter from Mizoram who represented India in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. He won Gold in Men’s 62 kg category with that he won the first gold in Youth Olympics Games and a silver medal in Asian Championship.
Anchita Sheuli
He is an Indian Weightlifter who participates in the 73 kg category. He set a Games record of 313 kg and won gold in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Isn’t it Crazy!!!
He won silver in the 2021 Junior World Weightlifting Championship.
Sanket Mahadev Sargar
He is also an Indian Weightlifter who has the national and Commonwealth record of 256 kg in the Men’s 55 kg category. He also won silver in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham with a total weight of 248 kg.

Bindyarani Devi
She is also an Indian Weightlifter who competes in the 55 kg category. She has won Gold in the 2019 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships and Silver in the 2021 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships and also won Gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Gururaja Poojary
He is also known as P. Gururaja who won Silver in the 2018 Commonwealth Weightlifting in Men’s 56 kg category. He also won the Bronze in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in weightlifting.
L. Shushila Devi
She is an Indian Judo player who won silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Judo Women’s 48 kg category. She also won silver this year at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Judo Women’s 48 kg category.
With all this, she won Gold in the 2019 Asian Games in Judo Women’s 48 kg category.

Vijay Kumar Yadav
This young 26-year boy showed everyone how capable is he when it comes to Judo. He won his first medal as a Bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Judo Men’s 60 kg category.

Harjinder Kaur
Another young player showed their potential and this time it was in weightlifting. She won the Bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Weightlifting Women’s 71 kg category.
India’s Lawn Bowls Women’s Team
The four-player team of Women’s Lawn ball showed their A game in the finals against South Africa with a score of 17-10 to achieve their first Gold Commonwealth Games medal.

Vikas Thakur
Another Weightlifter to make our country proud who won Silver in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 85 kg category also he won Bronze in the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
He shined again when he won Silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games Birmingham.
Men’s Table Tennis Team
Not just individuals but this year all teams are giving their all to reach the top of all others and the same was done by our Indian Men’s Table Tennis team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
By securing the top spot and earning their Gold.
Badminton Mixed Team
India fought till the end but in the end, the score was 1-3 to Malaysia and settled for a Silver Medal. Many blamed Kidambi Srikanth for an underwhelming performance.

Lovepreet Singh
He is India’s weightlifter who won Bronze Medal in the men’s 109 kg category at Commonwealth Games 2022.
Bajrang Punia
Tokyo Olympics Bronze Medallist Bajrang Punia defended his title in the 65 kg wrestling competition. He made our country proud by winning the Gold.
Saurav Ghosal
He became India’s first-ever player to claim a Singles medal in Squash. He won a Bronze at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Tulika Mann
Indian Judo player Tulika Maan won Silver Medal in the Women’s 78 kg category at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Gurdeep Singh
Gurdeep Singh rounded off India’s weightlifting campaign with a Bronze Medal in the 109+ kg event at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Tejaswin Shankar
A National Record holder opened the Indian athletics team’s name with a Bronze in the men’s high jump event in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Murali Sreeshankar
He won a Silver Medal in Men’s long jump to give India its second medal in the athletics at Commonwealth Games 2022.

Sudhir
He claimed Gold Medal in Men’s heavyweight para-powerlifting event at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
He lifted 208 kg in his first attempt before increasing it to 212 kg in his second effort to gather 134.5 points and break the Games record. It was a great moment in his life and our country’s pride.
Sakshi Malik
She won Gold in the Women’s Wrestling 62 Kg category in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Her winning gave a boost to the country’s team.
Divya Kakran
She won Bronze in Women’s 68 kg freestyle wrestling after losing to Tokyo Olympic silver medalist and 11-time African champion, in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Deepak Punia
He contributed to the increase in India’s medal tally by winning the men’s freestyle 86 kg Gold at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Anshu Malik
Wrestler Anshu Malik had to settle for the Silver Medal after reaching the women’s 57 kg final at CWG 2022. Still a proud moment for our wrestlers.
Mohit Grewal
He won Bronze in Men’s freestyle wrestling 125 kg. He won against Cyprus’ Alexios Kaouslidis 10-1 but lost in the semifinal to Canada’s Amarveer Dhesi by technical superiority.
Currently India positions at Rank 4 with 22 Gold, 16 Silver, and 23 Bronze which made the total tally of 61 medals in Commonwealth Games 2022.
Congratulations to every player who won and also to every player who represented their country because each of the players are playing in CWG 2022 to make their country proud. It is one of the most beautiful things to ever experience.
