Partnerships in cricket are one of the key elements for victory and in IPL where overs are limited then a good partnership can easily turn the match around to their favor. So, here is the list of the top 10 partnerships in IPL (2008-2021)
Virat Kohli, AB De Villers
They just played an unimaginable inning which is one of the most famous and greatest partnerships of all time.
They broke their previous record of 215* runs record and broke every record of any partnership of all time in IPL.
they both hit their centuries and made a partnership of 229 runs against Gujrat Lions (GL) in IPL (2016). In which Virat Kohli made 109 runs in 55 balls and AB De Villers made 129 runs in 52 balls.
This 2nd wicket partnership is one of the memorable partnerships of all time.

Virat Kohli, AB De Villers
This one was the greatest partnership till 2015. They completely destroy the bowling lineup of Mumbai Indians (MI).
In this partnership, Virat Kohli scores 82 runs in 50 balls and AB De Villers hit 133 runs in 59 balls.
They made a 2nd wicket partnership of 215* runs against Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL (2015).
Adam Gilchrist, Shaun Marsh
One of the best partnerships or players for batting line were these two Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh. Both these players show great innings in IPL.
They made in this list at Rank 3 by scoring 206 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL (2011) in which Adam Gilchrist scored 106 runs in 55 balls and Shaun Marsh scored 79 runs in 49 balls.

They both made the partnership of 189* runs in which David Warner scored 109 runs in 54 balls and Naman Ojha scored 64 runs in 46 balls.

David Warner one to power hitters of IPL has his name again in this list but this time with a new face Jonny Bairstow.
They both make the history of partnership in IPL (2019) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by scoring 185 runs at 2nd wicket.
In which Jonny Bairstow makes his first IPL Century 114 runs in 56 balls and David Warner also hit a century with 100 runs in 55 balls.
They with this match with a huge margin of 118 runs. That’s a huge difference.
Gautam Gambhir, Chris Lynn
This was one of the great IPL matches of IPL (2017) and I guess one of the best of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) too.
This match is memorable because in the first Inning Gujarat Lions (GL) put a good target of 184 runs but the main event was the second Inning where the KKR opening pair Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn smash the GL bowling line and this partnership solely achieved the target of 184 runs.
In which Chris Lynn barely misses his century at 93* runs in 41 balls and Gautam Gambhir scores 76 runs in 48 balls.
Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul
IPL 2020 one of the times where audience were not part of it but players still give their best performance as always.
KL Rahul a name which is now noticeable by many new peoples. But in this match, the main focus was earned by Mayank Agarwal.
In this match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), they both made a partnership of 183 runs in which KL Rahul made 69 runs and Mayank Agarwal break one of his own records by making a century in just 45 balls. He scored 106 runs.
Shane Watson, Faf Du Plesis
Another IPL (2020) partnership between Shane Watson and Faf Du Plessis from Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Another duo match like Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn.
Where Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) give the target of 179 runs to CSK and CSK achieve this target by their best opening pair Shane Watson and Faf Du Plessis.

This match in IPL (2018) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) was a sight to behold.

But in the second Inning, the partnership of Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson totally destroy the bowling lineup and completed the target all by themselves.
