After watching some good innings in T20 World Cup 2022 I thought let’s write about some players. I have already done this format for our Master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar so why not for other players too. So today let’s see the 10 Best Moments of Virat Kohli of All time.
1. A Centurion in Adelaide for India
As Kohli was the captain at that time it was the first Australian Tour in Dec 2014. Australia put a big score of 517 runs in their inning but even in this Virat Kohli made 115 runs and took the team total to 444 in their first inning.
Later Kohli again smashed 141 off 175 balls and with Murali Vijay built a partnership of 185 but in the end, India fell at 315. Even with that loss, Virat Kohli came up with his shining twin centuries.
2. The Star was born in India in 2016
This was like the best year for Virat Kohli’s career. He scored more than 900 runs in IPL that year and he single-handedly took team India to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
This was the year when Virat Kohli was named “the Run Machine”.

4. Mohali’s Victory against Australia T20 World Cup 2016
The match was against Australia and India was chasing 160 but lost both their openers at an early stage. Still, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli build the inning and later MS Dhoni joined Kohli and led India to Victory.
In that Inning, Virat Kohli remained unbeaten at 82 from 51 balls.
5. Career’s best Test Score Against South Africa
The year 2019 was the time and it came against South Africa the highest test score from Virat Kohli.
He scored 254* in which he struck 33 fours and 2 sixes and took the team’s total to 601 runs.
6. Denying to take strike while on 49* against South Africa
The year 2019 2nd T20I against South Africa with Virat Kohli and Dinesh Kartik on the field for the last over.
Dinesh Kartik played 2 dot balls followed by a four and six then he asked Virat Kohli to switch strike so that he can complete his half-century as he was playing at 49* but Virat Kohli denied it and said to continue the inning and with that India made a huge score of 237 runs for South Africa.
This showed his commitment towards team play and his personality to sacrifice something to win the game.

7. World Record Partnership with AB De Villers
IPL 2016 and in the match against Gujarat Lions the duo of Virat Kohli and AB De Villers made a world record for the greatest partnerships of all time in IPL history.
This duo made a partnership of 229* runs and it was also known as the first time two batsmen scored a century in the same inning.
Man, this was a crazy Inning that I watched.
8. First batsman to reach 6000 runs in IPL
As we know he is called the run machine he showed it when he became the first batsman to reach 600 runs in IPL. Becoming first in something is of kind feeling don’t you think?
9. Second Batsman in the world who scored the most centuries in their career
He is currently the second batsman to score the most centuries in their career with 71 centuries and as obvious at rank one there is no one who is close enough to our Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar with 100 centuries.
With that being said Virat Kohli is also at Rank 6 in the list of Most run scorers with legend’s names like Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Mahela Jayawardene, Jack Kallis, and at 6th Virat Kohli.

10. Thrilling 82 not out against Pakistan T20 World Cup 2022
This match was like a thrilling rollercoaster and I think this is one of the greatest innings of all time. This inning is still fresh in my mind because I watched the whole match and each ball was important for both teams.
With the early fall of wickets, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya built a partnership to take team India to a stable condition.
In the last 4 overs, both these players hit hard and turn the match towards India.
But with all this the inning of 82* in 53 balls was just amazing to watch and the last over of the match that six on the no-ball then a wide and that last single from R Ashwin was just too good to watch.

Not gonna lie but I watched the highlights and then the whole replay of it but the excitement that I felt was when I was watching the replay. I already knew the result but still, I was totally invested in that and that happens when the match is unpredictable.
