He is known as the best Indian Footballer of all time. Sunil Chhetri is captain of the Indian Football team and for team Bengaluru FC in Indian Super League (ISL).
He also made his place in the top 5 highest international goal scorers with 84 goals.
P. K. Banerjee
He was a Striker who played for the Indian football team and made their appearance 45 times. He was the first recipient of the Arjuna Award in 1961 and also received Padma Shri in 1990. Sir Banerjee also received the FIFA Order of Merit which is the highest honor that FIFA awards.
Subrata Pal
Subrata Pal became the first well-known name among Indian football fans when he played for U-23 in pre-Olympic qualifiers and his plays managed the team to qualify for group stages.
He also plays International and also for ATK Mohun Bagan in ISL.
Bhaichung Bhutia
Bhaichung is a former striker who played internationally for India and made appearances in 80 matches.
His nickname was Sikkimese Sniper due to his shooting skills. He is widely known as the torchbearer for Indian Football on International Stage.

Jeje Lalpekhlua
He is regarded as one of the best Indian players because he was the second-top scorer in the history of ISL.
Jeje won the 2015-16 FPAI Indian Player of the year and AIFF Men’s Player of the year award.
