In Cricket no one is unbeatable but some players set the stakes too high that anyone can barely reach and as for this list we are going on with our list of Top 10 Highest Wicket-taker in ODI.

He made his tournament debut in 1996 as a 23-year-old and had an emotional farewell at 2011 final. He played at five Cricket World Cups in which three finals and here we got this awesome record.

Like no one I really mean it no one has taken that many wickets as he does. He took in a total of 534 wickets in ODI in his career as he retired in 2011, he is still managed to stay on top at Rank 1. Really, he is one of my favorite spinners even if he holds this record or not.

Wasim Akram | Muthiah Muralidaran | Rank 2 in List of top 10 highest wicket-taker in ODI

Wasim Akram was one of those rare talents who played for Pakistan and also who never played first-class cricket, before making his international debut.

And he is at Rank 2 in this list and 32 wickets behind our Rank 1 with 502 wickets in ODI and it’s a huge achievement because the remaining of the list is like almost 100 wickets below so there is no comparison between the below list.

Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis is a former Pakistani bowler, who is considered to be one of the greatest fast bowlers to have played the game.

With 416 wickets in ODI, he managed to be at Rank 3 in this list.

Chaminda Vaas

Playing in an era with some of the greatest players like McGrath, Wasim, Waqar, Lee in which he became a left-handed genius who carved out his own path to compete with the best.

Because of this, he managed to get Rank 4 on this list with 400 wickets in ODI.

Shahid Afridi

Who doesn’t know him is one of the best all-rounders of Pakistan and their former Captain in internationals. He is considered one of the most popular and destructive cricketers. As an all-rounder, Afridi bowled leg-spin and was recognized for his aggressive batting.

He also made his name on this list at Rank 5 with 395 wickets in ODI.

Shaun Pollock

He is a South African cricket commentator and former cricketer, who was a captain in all formats of the game. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers and all-rounders of all time. 

So, he made his way in this list at Rank 6 with 393 wickets in his ODI career.

Glenn McGrath

He is a former Australian international cricketer who played international cricket for 14 years. He was a fast-medium pace bowler and is considered one of the greatest Australian international bowlers of all time.

Glenn McGrath was a leading contributor to Australia’s domination of world cricket from the mid-1990s to the late-2000s.

He made his name in this list at Rank 7 with 381 wickets in ODI.

Brett Lee

He is an Australian former international cricketer, who played in all three formats. During his international career, Lee was recognized as one of the fastest bowlers in the world.

And He just missed his spot at Rank 7 by a mere 1 wicket. He took 380 wickets in his ODI career at made it in this list at Rank 8.

Lasith Malinga

He is well known as “Slinga Malinga”, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest limited-overs bowlers of all time.

He captained the Sri Lankan 2014 T20 World Cup and he is also the highest wicket-taker in IPL.

With that all he made it in this list at Rank 9 with 338 wickets in ODI.

Anil Kumble

A career-spanning 18 long and glorious years, Sir Anil Kumble played 132 Tests and 271 ODIs.

With taking 619 wickets in the test and 337 in the ODI matches.

 The veteran bowler retired as the third-highest wicket-taker in Tests, behind legends Muttiah Muralidaran and Shane Warne. 

He also just missed his spot at Rank 9 with a mere 1 wicket. So he took in a total of 337 wickets in ODI matches and made his place in this list and Rank 10.
