Rumal Jhapatta is a simple game where you need some quick reflexes to counter your opponents’ movements. here’s How to play Rumal Jhapatta game.

This game consists of two teams, and an object such as a bottle or handkerchief, etc., which is designated as the “bone.”

A player from each team comes forward and attempts to take the bone (placed at the center of the playing area) back to his team.

The player who fails to take the bone has to go out of the game.

It can be played as a one-on-one duel or as a team game and it is mainly a team game where there are 5-10 players in each team.

Both teams stay at the same distance from the middle where the object (Handkerchief or any other thing) is kept.

So, there are two variants of the game but only one is known or mainly played but I’m telling both and they are not that different.

Variation 1:

This is not that popular or not known that much and I only played it one time.

So, after the above steps of dividing the team, then the middle man just shouts ready and from each team, anyone can rush towards the middle.

And the one who manages to the object back to their team gets the point.

Variation 2:

This is the variation which is mainly played all over where team members decide a no. for each player from 1 to 10.

Then the middle man shouts a random number from that 1 to 10 at players who decided that number will rush to the middle the retrieve the object back to his team.

But if one player takes the object but was caught by the opponent’s player before reaching back to his team then the opponent’s team gets the point.

So, it’s up to you that you want to take the object or take chance to catch the opponent.
